Jeevasakhi

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 30, 2026

Welcome to jeevasakhi.com (the “Website” or “Platform”), owned and operated by Fair Capital (“the Company”, which includes its subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, shareholders, directors, executives, officers, employees, agents, successors-in-interest and permitted assigns). Your use of this Website, or access to any service provided on it, is subject to your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

If you require any clarification about these Terms, please contact support@jeevasakhi.com and obtain such clarification before using this Website.

Your use of the Website signifies your agreement to all terms, conditions, policies and notices contained herein. If you do not accept any of these provisions, do not use or access the Website.

Jeevasakhi is a Christian matrimony matchmaking facilitation platform to seek a life partner for marriage, and is not a dating site. Selecting a partner is absolutely the responsibility of the registered user.

1. Use of the Website

“User” means any person who uses the Website and/or any of the services provided on it, including anyone who posts any content — text, data, images, photos, videos, information, or other material — or who views such content. The Website is deemed to be used by you when it is loaded, and/or continues to be loaded, in the temporary or permanent memory of your mobile phone, computer, or any other device, or in the internet browser thereof. The Company's own records of Website use, maintained through its computer systems, shall be deemed accepted as conclusive and binding proof of such use.

The Company reserves the right to amend, delete, or supplement any of these Terms at any time; such changes take effect automatically when published on the Website. The Company may discontinue, terminate, or limit your use of the Website at any time, without notice, if you violate any part of these Terms or for any reason whatsoever.

2. Eligibility

This Website is intended to facilitate lawful marriages between persons by providing a medium for contact between such persons. It is therefore essential that Users are capable of entering into a legal and binding contract of marriage under the law applicable to them. By using this Website, you confirm that you are, or you are registering on behalf of a person who is:

  1. 18 years or above (if a woman) or 21 years or above (if a man), being the minimum age prescribed under the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, and any successor legislation then in force;
  2. Legally competent to enter into a valid contract of marriage under the law applicable to them; and
  3. Not prohibited or prevented by any applicable law for the time being in force from entering into a valid contract of marriage.

The Company reserves the right to immediately terminate your use of and/or registration with the Website, without refund of any subscription fee paid, if the Company has reason to believe you are not eligible to use this Website or that you have made any misrepresentation about your eligibility.

3. Registration with the Website

To create a profile and use most of the Website's features — including expressing interest in another member's profile, requesting access to photos or contact details set to “visible on request”, or subscribing to a paid plan — you must register. Registration is a self-service process: you create your own profile by filling in the required fields (and any optional fields you choose to add) at jeevasakhi.com, in order to search the Website's existing member database for a prospective lawful matrimonial alliance.

During registration or afterwards, you may be asked to provide personal information. You must ensure this information is accurate, complete, and kept up to date. Search results and match suggestions shown to you are generated automatically based on the partner preferences you set; if you change your partner preferences, the profiles suggested to you will change accordingly.

Upon successful registration, you set your own password for your account. You confirm that you are the sole and exclusive owner of your account and accept sole responsibility for the confidentiality and security of your login credentials, and for all actions taken using them. Your registration is for your personal use; you may not authorise anyone else to use your account, and may not transfer or assign it to any other person. All statements made, and all actions taken, while your account is logged in are deemed to have originated from you, and you are responsible for them, including any misuse.

Family-delegated access. Jeevasakhi permits a profile owner to invite a family member (a parent, sibling, or other relative) to act on their behalf, with the owner's explicit, revocable consent, given through the Website's own delegate-invite flow. A delegate acting for a profile is bound by these Terms exactly as the profile owner would be. This is the only circumstance in which another person may use your account with your authorisation.

Multiple registrations by the same person are not permitted. The Company reserves the right to deactivate duplicate registrations without refunding any subscription fee. You must notify the Company promptly, in writing, if you become aware of any loss, theft, or unauthorised use of your login credentials, or of any inaccurate information relating to your use of the Website. While the Company disclaims liability for such loss, theft, or unauthorised use, on receiving your notification the Company will take reasonable steps to secure your account.

If any information you provide is found to be untrue, inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete — or the Company has grounds to suspect this — the Company may suspend or terminate your registration and refuse you any further use of the Website. The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse registration, terminate a registration, or remove or edit content posted under your account.

4. Content

You are responsible for the content and information you post or transmit through the Website — including your profile, photographs, videos, testimony/faith information, and communications with other Users (“Content”). You represent and warrant that you own all rights, title, and interest in your Content, or hold the necessary licences, rights, consents, and permissions to post and use it. You retain ownership of your Content. By submitting Content, you grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable, and transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the Content in connection with operating and promoting the Website and the Company's services. You also grant the Company, its authorised third parties, and other Users a non-exclusive licence to view and interact with your Content in the manner the Website's own privacy settings permit — see our Privacy Policy for how your chosen visibility settings for photos and contact details govern who can actually see them.

The Company does not undertake to actively monitor all Content, but reserves the right to review Content for authenticity, accuracy, and compliance with these Terms — including through the Website's photo/video moderation queue and its church/pastor verification programme (an opt-in process by which a member's profile can carry a “Church Verified” badge once a recognised church leader confirms it). If Content cannot be verified to the Company's satisfaction, or is found not to comply with these Terms, the Company may remove it and/or terminate your registration, without refund of any subscription fee.

Notwithstanding the Company's right to review Content, all Content remains the sole responsibility of the User who posted it, at that User's own risk. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of any Content, whether or not it carries a verification badge, and Users are advised to independently verify any information about a prospective match before relying on it. The Company is not liable for any Content, including errors or omissions in it, or for any loss or damage arising from its use.

The Company reserves the right to delete Content after a period of two years of profile inactivity, unless you request in writing that it be retained longer. You understand that using the Website exposes you to Content from other Users which the Company has not independently verified, and you agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless, to the fullest extent the law allows, in connection with your use of the Website. In the interest of User security and platform integrity, the Company reserves the right to rate-limit the number of messages, interest requests, or access requests any User may send in a given period.

If you find Content on the Website that does not comply with these Terms, please email support@jeevasakhi.com so the Company can take appropriate action. If you marry another User you met through Jeevasakhi and would like to share a success story, please let the Company know — we may ask for reasonable evidence of the marriage, and reserve the right to decide whether and how to publish the story.

Users who find a suitable match through the Website must independently verify and conduct their own due diligence on that person before proceeding. The Company is not responsible for the authenticity or accuracy of information exchanged between Users, verification badges notwithstanding.

The Company is a network service provider and intermediary. All member-generated Content is posted by registered Users and constitutes third-party user-generated content; the Company does not exercise editorial control over it and is not liable for it, except as required by applicable law.

5. Restrictions on Use

You agree that your Content and conduct on the Website shall not:

  1. Contain material that is copyrighted, a trade secret, or otherwise subject to a third party's intellectual property or proprietary rights (including privacy and publicity rights), unless you own those rights or have written permission to post the material and grant the licence in Section 4.
  2. Contain material you do not have the right to disclose under any law, contract, or fiduciary relationship (such as an employer's confidential information or information covered by a non-disclosure agreement).
  3. Contain falsehoods or misrepresentations that could damage the Company or a third party — including a fabricated profile, a photo that is not genuinely yours, or misrepresented personal details.
  4. Be abusive, unlawful, obscene, vulgar, defamatory, threatening, pornographic, invasive of another's privacy (including bodily privacy), harassing on the basis of gender, hateful, or racially, religiously, or ethnically offensive, or otherwise objectionable.
  5. Be used to contact or communicate with a minor (anyone under 18), or be otherwise harmful to a minor.
  6. Disguise the origin of a message, or knowingly communicate information that is false or misleading but reasonably perceived as fact.
  7. Contain advertisements, solicitations of business, chain letters, or pyramid schemes unrelated to seeking a matrimonial match.
  8. Impersonate another person or entity.
  9. Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.
  10. Contain a virus or other harmful component.

You further agree that you will:

  • Use the Website strictly for your own personal, non-commercial purpose of seeking a matrimonial match.
  • Not place an unreasonable or disproportionate load on the Website's servers or systems.
  • Not upload content that threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, or public order.
  • Not enter into any financial transaction with another User, or seek or offer financial help to or from another User.
  • Not share sensitive personal data with another User beyond what is needed for the matchmaking process — in particular, never share bank details, payment credentials, or government ID numbers with another member.
  • Not enter into a physical relationship with a prospective match before marriage, arranged or otherwise, as facilitated through the Website.
  • Not interact with a profile that has been suspended or blocked.
  • Exercise caution with any User who asks for money or favours, calls from multiple or unfamiliar numbers, avoids a video call or in-person meeting, or discourages you from involving your family in the process — and report such conduct using the Website's block/report tools.

You further agree not to, except as these Terms expressly permit:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works from any part of the Website.
  • Systematically download and store the Website's member database, other than data concerning you directly.
  • Send unsolicited messages to another User outside the Website's own interest/messaging flow.
  • Attempt to circumvent the Website's privacy controls — for example, to view a photo or contact detail a member has not made visible to you and has not granted you access to through the Website's own request-and-approve flow.
  • Use any automated tool (“bot”, “scraper”, or similar) to access the Website at a rate no ordinary human user using a standard browser could achieve.
  • Harvest personally identifiable information from the Website for any purpose outside your own use of the matchmaking service.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All parts of the Website, other than Content posted by Users, are owned by the Company and/or its suppliers, affiliates, and business partners, and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Unauthorised copying, reverse-engineering, or redistribution of the Website, other than as these Terms expressly permit, is prohibited and may result in civil and criminal liability. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence to the Company's or any third party's intellectual property beyond what is expressly stated here.

7. Disclaimer

The Website and all services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The Company disclaims all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The Company does not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or as to the accuracy or reliability of any Content or match suggestion, verification badge included.

The Company gives no guarantee of a successful match, engagement, or marriage arising from your use of the Website (whether on a free or paid plan). Any reliance on material or communication from another User is at your own risk; such exchanges are not a recommendation or endorsement by the Company. The Company is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from a relationship or marriage formed through the Website.

8. Limitation of Liability and Subscription Fees

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Company is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from: errors or inaccuracies on the Website; unauthorised access to its servers or to your personal information; any bug, virus, or similar transmitted by a third party; any loss resulting from Content posted by another User; any unavailability of or delay in the Website; or any relationship or communication between Users arising from use of the Website. The Company is not liable for the conduct — defamatory, offensive, or otherwise unlawful — of any User; the risk of such conduct rests entirely with the Users involved.

Subscription fees are non-refundable, except where applicable Indian consumer-protection law requires otherwise, or the Company decides otherwise at its sole discretion. If the Company suspends or terminates your account for violating these Terms, any subscription fee already paid is forfeited.

9. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your use of the Website; your breach of these Terms; your violation of a third party's rights, including privacy or intellectual property rights; a claim that your Content caused loss to a third party or another User; or your violation of any law. This obligation survives these Terms and your use of the Website.

10. Third-Party Sites and Services

Links to third-party websites, and the third-party services the Website relies on to operate (currently Twilio, Razorpay, Cloudflare, and Resend — see our Privacy Policy), are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not these Terms. The Company does not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for the content, security, or practices of any third-party website or service, and you access them at your own risk.

11. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (as amended) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Company has appointed the following Grievance Officer, who also serves as the contact point for data-protection grievances:

Grievance Officer: B John
Email: support@jeevasakhi.com
Address: B-21, Sector 55, Noida, Uttar Pradesh - 201301, India

The Grievance Officer will acknowledge a complaint promptly and aim to resolve it within the timeframe prescribed by applicable law. All complaints should be submitted in writing (email is acceptable) and should include:

  • Your name and contact details;
  • A description of the Content or conduct being complained about, and its location on the Website (a profile ID, message, or URL);
  • For a copyright complaint specifically: identification of the copyrighted work, a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them, and a statement of good faith that the use complained of is unauthorised.

Complaints may concern (without limitation) Content that: belongs to someone else without their permission; is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful; harms a minor; infringes a patent, trademark, or copyright; impersonates another person; or otherwise violates these Terms or applicable law.

12. General

The Company is not liable for any failure of the Website caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, government restraint, internet or telecommunications failure, or a deliberate attack on the Website's infrastructure. The Company may schedule maintenance downtime with reasonable notice where practicable.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force. You may not transfer or assign your rights under these Terms; the Company may do so without restriction. The Company may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Website, or remove Content, at its discretion, including where it reasonably believes you have violated these Terms — in which case any subscription fee paid is forfeited.

These Terms, and your use of the Website, are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, for any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Website.

If you access the Website from outside India, you are responsible for complying with the laws of your own jurisdiction; the Company makes no representation that the Website is appropriate for use outside India.
